• Add IRIS Payment: The plugin integrates the IRIS payment gateway into your WooCommerce store. Customers can select IRIS as a payment method during checkout.
• Admin Configuration: Through WooCommerce settings, you can define essential details such as the payment method title and description, your VAT number, the account holder’s name, and optionally, a link for a payment QR code.
• Order Updates: After the order is placed, the order status automatically changes to “On Hold” until the payment is completed. You can then update the order status once you confirm the payment from your bank.

Setup Steps for the IRIS Checkout Gateway for WooCommerce

1. Activate the Plugin

After installing and activating the plugin in WooCommerce:

• Navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments.

2. Configure IRIS Payment Gateway

1. Find IRIS Payment Gateway and click on Settings.
2. Fill in the following fields:
   • Title: The title displayed to customers during checkout (e.g., “Pay with IRIS”).
   • Description: A brief description of the payment (e.g., “Pay with IRIS through your bank.”).
   • Instructions: Payment instructions for the customer, displayed on the order confirmation page.
   • VAT Number and Account Holder Name: Enter your VAT number and the name of your bank account. These details will be displayed to the customer to complete the payment.

3. Click Save Changes to enable the settings.

What does the customer see?

• During Checkout: Your customers will see the IRIS payment option and follow the instructions you have set.
• After the Order: On the order confirmation page, they will see the payment instructions, VAT number, account holder’s name, and QR code (if configured).

How is the order updated?

• After placing the order, the WooCommerce order status will be “On Hold” until you confirm the payment from your bank.
• Once the payment is received, you can update the order status to “Completed” in WooCommerce.

Order Confirmation Email

• In the confirmation email sent to the customer, all payment details will be included, such as the VAT number, account holder’s name, and the QR code, if set.
